    Default Bond Arms 45 Colt

    Hi Everyone and Happy Holidays.

Here's a question anybody have a bond Arms in 45 Colt and do you do any reloading for it? If so what does it like? Barrel length? I was thinking of going with the 4.25" Ranger 2
    Thanks

I am not really sure what you are asking for.

Ranger 2 barrel length is 4.25". Will an overall length of over 6", I am really not sure what the purpose of that model is.

The Snake Slayer cuts an inch of of it, making it slightly more manageable as a pocket gun. I know a couple of people who use it when they just cannot get away with a holstered pistol.
Personally, I think their Patriot, Texas Defender, or Cowboy Defender lines (3" barrel, 5" overall) fit the idea of a derringer better. https://bondarms.com/bond-arms-handguns/texas-defender/

I think he means length of barrel affects acuracy.can you load a round to compensate for the short barrel?

The bond arms in my opinion is not built for super accuracy. The barrel is short and the trigger pull is rough.

First of all, what are you trying to do? Target shooting, self defense or hunting?

Shorter barrels reduce sight radius compared to longer barrels. Accuracy has to do with familiarity with the firearm, practice and consistence of loads. There are shooters who can hit targets with 2 inch snubnose revolvers at 100 plus yards. That's not what they're intended for but you can do it.

The idea of bond arms is interchangeable barrels. Six turns of one Allen screw. And they are cool guns. Cowboy action has a class for them.
