Agreed. There's also Scotty Benedict at Pre98.com. But both of those guys are businessmen who resell, not collectors.
OP's friend has two choices:
1. Find a buyer like Tom, Scotty, RIA, etc. who will pay less than retail but will do all the work such as take excellent pictures, list on a site to solicit buyers, travel to gun shows, etc. That's the easy way but it pays less.
2. Do the actual work listed above, wait for the right buyer to come along, and then reap the benefits in the form of a retail sale.
The notion of finding a collector who will pay top dollar to a private seller with no reputation without seeing detailed pics is a pipe dream.

Thanks for some more names. By buddy is retired and can spend some time driving to meat someone or head out to a guys shop. Not worried about that.
Just wanted another avenue besides R.I.www.Steelvalleycasting.com is your new home for coated bullets and custom ammo.
