add a motor to a crank firing devise it becomes an illegal mg because the switch that controls the motor becomes the trigger, the loop in a shoelace becomes the trigger when used to fire faster, springs added to a bumpfire stock make it an illegal mg (atkins accelerator), the reason bumpfire stocks passed muster is because your finger is hitting the trigger and you have to actively make it work. also drop in auto sears and lightning liks are illegal mgs unless registered before 86, so there are long lines of "acessories" being illegal.

Well, that may be correct legally.
But I dont think its right.
It just opens the door up to the ATF having a field day with things it can ban.
The NFA and GCA needs to be completely done away with or at the very least rewritten to allow of common folk the ability to own MG's again.
    Im sick of this bullshit.
The 2nd Amendment was written so people can go deer hunting.

If they make these decrees I will be very tempted to bump fire on private land- and it might not necessarily be with a bump stock. I will not comply with illegal decrees, especially from a bureaucracy who thinks it has the 'right' to 'interpret' it's 'vision' of the law.

All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives. -Article I, US Constitution
This is happening under the Trump administration and a Republican AG, not a Democrat one, not Obama and not Holder. These are people who said they support the rights you have and they are to protect under the Second Amendment!
It seems that the 'days of coming after your gun rights and the 2nd amendment are over' was a lie- or a 'mis-spoken statement' as they like to call it?

I agree and admire your stance.
However, if thats how you feel why stop at bump stocks?
Im sure you would agree that the NFA is unconstitutional as well.
Im not condoning breaking the law, Im just making a point.
