Default That did not sound the way I meant it to sound.

Did you ever say something, and the second you say it you think. "That did not sound the way I meant it to sound?"

The other night we were waiting for food at Boothís Corner and a buddy whose last name is Johnson called. I answered and about 2 seconds later his brother and brothers wife who had been walking around Booths Corner saw me and stepped up to say hi. I looked at them and said, "Iím talking to your brother, Ií feel like I am surrounded by Johnsonís". The second the word escaped my mouth I was like ď shit, that did not sound right"

Anyone got some good verbal slip ups to share?

Something similar happened at work last week. The GC had a amish framing company come in for the week
to frame an addition, long story short, myself and another guy were talking to one of them. The guy asked him, (amish guy) do you guys curse?
amish guy says no, guy asks, does it bother you when we curse? amish guy said, we just block it out (inside I'm like oh great, ive been dropping f bombs all day
    etc...)

Now here comes the GC's helper (x-upper darby cop) you fukin guys going to work today?

Amish guy just went about his business. They dont even get mad at each other, they dont fight,
curse, nothing. We asked them what they do for fun, they said hunt.

I'm a teacher and I usually call my students Mr. or Miss whatever their last name is. I had a kid in my Algebra class once whose last name was Gay. Once there was a problem on the board that was proving problematic for most of the class. I asked if anyone knew how to solve the equation and Mr. Gay raised his hand so I loudly announced: "Everyone pay close attention now as Mr. Gay sets us straight." There was a brief moment of awkward silence and then we all had a good laugh.

Was in the car and my mother was driving me somewhere. I was just out of the Army (2 years overseas in Korea).

Mother: So how's work been going?
Me (after chuckling):Oh, it's All Fucked Up.

My mother continues talking, not missing a beat while I sat there realizing what the hell I just said to my mom!

When I worked in the Garden Dept at Home Depot, a woman asked this question,

"Is it better to suck or blow?"

while standing in front of the lawn blowers, NEXT to her hawt daughter.

    I've got a good one
Several years ago we met several couples for a camping trip. One couple came by on Saturday night to say good buy because they would be leaving before everyone woke up the next morning. When asked why they were leaving so early, they said that they had to work Sunday. My wife says "what the hell kinda god damn job do you have that you have to work on a Sunday" Their answer= we are preachers. We all still laugh about it after all these years.

I have tons from work. A couple of years ago an assistant principal was giving an award for best something or another to a teacher. She was sitting near the front and wearing a buttoned up shirt that showed a bit of cleavage. She was well endowed. He called her name and said " the award for the breast ........". And instantly turned beat red as everyone cracked up. Luckily she was a good sport.
