Default Using postimage to post pictures to forum

Not sure which forum to post this in, but thought this might help people who want to post pictures from their devices, but can’t figure out how. This might benefit people wanting to sell stuff in the classifieds but can’t figure out how to post their pictures.

Easy way to post pictures from your computer, phone, tablet. (Anyone is free to copy and paste if you think this will help someone in the future)

    1. Go to the site postimage.org
    2. Click "choose images"
    3. Choose Photo library
    4. Pick the picture or pictures you want.
    5. Click done
    6. Chopse "hot link for forum" choice.
    7. Copy the links it gives you.

Back in the pafoa reply box:

    7. Paste the hot link and your picture/pictures is set to show in the post.

No problem, I learned something new from 39flathead posting a version of this in another thread that made the way I was doing it even easier.

If they allowed you to have sub folders, it would be perfect.
I use Postimage for some of my stuff.

Flickr allows bigger files and video, but overall, it's hugely confusing and while I do use it, I don't like it.

Anything is better than the tombstones photobucket has littered the internet with.

You can create "Gallery"s on the website, but you may have to create an account.

This helps out a lot. If I wanted to post a picture from my phone I always had to send it to my laptop first, then login on that and post it from there.

I predict Postimage will go the way of Photobucket eventually.

I never got any announcement, but now there is a "Upgrade to Premium Account" button you can click on.

Say goodbye to "free hosting" soon.
