I stopped at Shyda's and got a good deal on some ammo, then I went to the show. The aisles are a little tighter than usual, because they're not using the smaller of the two rooms. I got my $5 worth of entertainment, then I went shooting.

Went to the show today ($5 entrance fee, no coupons honored) and met "ScotsGuards" there - always nice to put a face to a virtual name...
Our only purchase at the show was a bundle of 25 .45 cal bore brushes (unused surplus for a Thompson .45 MG) for $20. Similar brushes usually go for around $3 each at most LGS's that we've visited. Probably should have bought a couple more bunches - he was situated in the center aisle in the smaller front room if you're interested....

Noted some lofty prices for .45-70 ammo ($40), .45-90 ($60), and .30-40 Krag ($53), all 20 rnd boxes. If you have the brass and dies, all are easy to reload at a fraction of the price.
Also met a vendor in the small room (against the back wall) that was selling original unissued .30-40 Krag bolts for $50 each - meant to pick up two before we left, but we got hungry, ordered two hotdogs, and forgot about it.
Stopped at Shydas and it was packed - seemingly no shortage on anything there. The missus did pick up some fleece tops and bottoms marked down from $50 to $12 and the fit is perfect.
Glad we went - needed to get out - by the time we got back, all our snow had melted.
The pickle guy was there and two beef jerky vendors. Also someone selling about 80-100 different bullet molds - if you needed something, it was probably on his table...Last edited by bamboomaster; January 20th, 2018 at 07:07 PM.

Was at the show today, decent show. Found a few good deals but not many. Thought a lot of the pistols were overpriced and not in the condition of asking price.
Seen some good ammo deals.
But all in all it was a good show
