5" sr1911 or xdm 4.5 .40 make up most of my carry time (90%) I dont mind then but then again I have carried a fullsize most of my carry life. Alternately, in the hottest of summer or run to the store etc is a pf-9

I carried a Desert Eagle in 44 Magnum back and forth to work for a short period.It's waistband holster fellt like a thigh rig due to it's length.
There are no pacts between lions and men.
