Default Application of the Definition of Machinegun to Bump Fire Stocks

If you click on the PDF link it shows the document was withdrawn.. or is it just delayed until tomorrow.

Prince Law Offices has a short write up... read here:

The cliff note version: Because of Las Vegas massacre, should the ATF revisit the bump stock is an accessory ruling and reclassify them as MG's.

What gets me is they are banning something that they have NO IDEA was the culprit.
Judge jury and executioner all before the trial started.

What do you mean by "no idea was the culprit"? I thought it was a known fact he was using sliding stock, no? I remember seeing pictures of the scene and if I remember right, at least 2 of his rifles were equipped with them. Could be wrong though I guess.

So I guess all teh ATF needs now is any reason whatsoever to make bump stocks an NFA item.

That sounds like they're setting a precedent.
If its that easy to make an accessory a NFA item, down the road they could easily have the authority to classify semi-auto rifles as NFA items.

    This is disgusting.

Let no one forget, this is exactly what the NRA asked for.

Oh my, if only you sold memberships and published a magazine then it would be clear to the world, you are the reason we still have gun rights. Oh wow, maybe you do, but are so much more thoughtful than the NRA and never let anyone know with junk mail or phone calls.
