Angry Trying to renew CC Permit in Levittown for 3 days ..........

I have been trying to renew my Concealed Carry Permit at the Levittown satellite office for 3 days now. Monday I arrived at 2:45 and they had a sign outside the entrance door that said they were no longer accepting CC Permit apps today. (They usually accept apps up until 3:00 according to their website)

I stopped around 10:00 on Tuesday and they said the system was down and they didn't know when it would be back up.

Stopped today around 1:15 and they had a sign on the counter saying they weren't taking CC Permit apps today.

What's up with that? Find it hard to believe they can't get their "System" up and running over a 3 day period. Don't feel like driving to Doylestown but it is starting to look like a real necessity at this point.

    Anyone else running into this?

Maybe it's the the Sheriff in town.

I usually do mine at the Qtown satellite office, but went to Dtown in July because I needed it and they weren't issuing them for a few days.

I stopped again this morning on my way to work and the lady working the counter was explaining to a young man that they system has had like 20 updates that have not been installed and that is what has shut it down. Evidently they can't get an IT guy out there to straighten it out. Seems pretty bad when you can't get tech help in a week or so. Oh well. I guess a trip to Doylestown is in my future, maybe after the holidays.

Honestly I think they should be able to get someone out to correct the situation within a day or two. That isn't too much to ask, is it?

They should also be able to issue it on the spot at the satellite offices too.

Now that would be nice ! Considering all the information they have on computers, if you can do it in Doylestown you should be able to do it there as well.

New Falls annex never has issued on appearance...always shipped to D-Town and back to New Falls, cash submission only. Took a couple of weeks or so. Don't see why any computer glitch would stop the annex from sending the application up....went by deputy sheriff courier from what I understand...

Evidently the glitch is in the software for the camera from what I gathered. I'll try again next week.

I renewed there once. Ever since then I now go to Doylestown and walk out with the new permit within a couple minutes. It's worth the drive.
