That is certainly a possibility but last year my son needed to renew his and we went to Doylestown the week between Christmas and New Years and we were there about 4 hours getting his. Didn't think about everyone being off from work that week. It was standing room only in the Sheriff's office and the hall outside.

Thing is....they don't "send" anything up to Doylestown. The picture is taken, and the cards are printed right there in Levittown. There is no reason they can't issue on the spot.

My LTCF bears Sheriff Edward J. Donnelly's signature. I know he didn't come down here to sign it.

He doesn't actually sign these cards. The signature is printed on just like the rest of the info.

New sheriff in town as of today. He's told me he is aware of some of the issues in Levittown and will address them.

Stopped at the Levittown office again this morning on the way to work and the system is still down. As far as I know, it has been down since December 18th or possibly before that. Looks like Doylestown is the only option at this point.

Sounds to me like someone in that office DOES NOT WANT TO ISSUE permits.. as a tax payer and voter I would demand an answer as to why the system has been down since Dec 18th or before

Deduct holidays from the span, and actual work days down is not that great yet. If the sheriff has 45 days to issue or deny, it's probably not at a stage where a taxpayer can demand much of anything.

An aside.... how in the heck did you all escape the wrath of the POOFA SS....19 posts and no one has said anything about the CORRECT name of the License To Carry Firearms being dishonored and disrespected by calling it a CC Permit????
