    Default Single action SIG

I always liked the quality of SIG pistols but I HATE DA/SA triggers. I recently found out that SIG makes some models in single action only with a thumb safety. This seems like it would be a truly awsome pistol.

Does anybody have any experence with them?

It's still not 1911-ish. IOW, it's a very poor SA trigger.

Ask permission to dry fire one at a gun shop.

I seem to remember reading a review somewhere in the last 2-3 months about a SAO 220. The Sigs sure have a great rep. I do not own one yet mainly because they are just very pricey in my opinion. I have shoot a 9mm Sig on a few occasions and was impressed. My son who used to be a confirmed Glock guy now carries a Sig as a duty handgun. He has put many 1000s of rounds through his and then only failures that he has experienced were related to crap ammo.

I had to switch over to a SIG with a job change. I went with a 229 DAK (no choice on the DAK). My .02, solid pistol, well made but there is a serious learning curve for me after years of shooting a Glock and 1911. The pistol is more accurate than I am and, though pricey, I am considering a second.
The CPOs might be a good way to get started.
