Per Wiki paper caps contain a mixture of Red Phosphorus and a chlorate or perchlorate oxidizer. This is close to old school corrosive primer mixtures. After firing you will get potassium chloride in the bore, which is corrosive.

I would not use this stuff in firearms without a thorough cleaning after firing. Same for using match materials.
