Malaysian 308
I see a bunch of it out there. $116 with free shipping on a 30 cal can with 300 rounds seems like a good price. Anyone shoot or know about it. Good deal or just average ?

Supposed to be pretty good for military surplus ammo.

Thanks, seems to be good stuff and .38.9 cents a round seems to be pretty good and a free can. Decisions, decisions - lol.

Re: Malaysian 308
I've seen it talked about on a few forums and most seem to like it and it seems to shoot well. Personally I would buy some if my ammo larder needed it but it doesn't. The only thing I heard negative was some folks got ammo slightly tarnished but otherwise it was fine.

It’s berdan primed, so the case is scrap (for most people) after firing, that’s the .10-15 or so you are seeing in the cost difference compared to boxer primed 7.62x51.

Never tried it, and if I didn't already have a buttload, I'd probably get some at that price.
I want $29.99 SA battlepacks again.

At 200 yards, shooting a M1A prone with a sling and iron sights, it will do 3MOA.
I suspect it could do 2 MOA or better from a bench with a scope.Last edited by Hawk; December 20th, 2017 at 10:58 AM.

I just bought some from SG Ammo. When I shoot it, I'll let you know how it does.
Mine was received clean and untarnished.
