I have a question...adding a pistol grip to the Shockwave magically turns it from a firearm to an AOW. Could that be legally be done by “transferring” it to myself and paying the five bucks (along with the transfer fee)?

I think the fact that it's a Mossberg would make me assume it's a piece shit already. This thing is a gimmick.
Any vote for a third party is a vote for a Democrat. You are the enemy.

No. The Shockwave is not a Title II firearm. It is still a Title I. You would be manufacturing a Title II firearm which is $200.

Not really magical. It drops the length under minimum. The "birds head" grip is sort of long.

The moment you make Title I into a Title II is a manufacture of a NFA device. Someone somewhere has to pay the $200.

I apologize for possibly causing a derailment in your thread. I am responsible for thread #16. I guess I got a discussion going on about AOW and NFA and that was not my intention. I only mention AOW to describe a shotgun I once owned that was similar to the shockwave. My intention on posting #16 was to tell you my experience in owning a similar shotgun and its limited use. I was trying to prevent you from experiencing the same thing that I did after I bought mine; that is, buyer's regret. Just trying to help.
