Re: Being timed out
When I log in there is an option that says "remember me" that keeps me logged in all the time.

Re: Being timed out
Maybe you need to get off the Time Out bench and move over to the Group W bench.
Rules are written in the stone,
Break the rules and you get no bones,
all you get is ridicule, laughter,
and a trip to the house of pain.

Re: Being timed out
Remember me does not work for me. My settings drop cookies at shut-down and the following start-up I have to log in to things, which I don't mind at all. It's the many time-outs here I wish someone could help me with. Like, maybe, a super moderator... or someone like that? Ahem.

Re: Being timed out
I log in. Peruse, see something I wish to respond to. Begin typing reply. Get distracted for maybe 10 minutes, return and continue typing to a conclusion, click on post reply and get message "You are not authorized...et cetera". Go back to log in windows and windows are blank. Have to log in again.
Or, I have logged in, have been reading the site, leave for a while, return and have to log in again (when it used to keep me logged in all day and on into the night).
I assume when the site sees no activity from me for a pre-determined amount of time, it kicks me off...a program I believe is called "timed out".

Re: Being timed out
My browser wipes itself at shutdown, but it has nothing to do with being kicked off poofa.
If I check the remember me box at sign in then it doesn't kick me out.
So I don't follow? How can you have any cookies if you don't drink your milk?
