What does dropping cookies at shutdown/restart have to do with being timed out on poofa?

    So again, I am confused.
What do you think is the reason remember-me does not keep you logged in to poofa?
How can you have any cookies if you don't drink your milk?

    Yes, I understand.
Poofa boots you if it doesn't read activity for x amount of minutes.
Clicking the Remember-Me box at login prevents this and you stay logged in indefinitely.
He says he is being booted and that Remember-Me does not work for him.
I am trying to understand why he thinks it does not work for him.

Because he thinks it only works for closing the browser and reopening it. I believe he hasn't tried it yet. He might now.

I am missing something, obviously. I have outlined what happens to me and it has been parroted perfectly, yet I am told I am not making myself understood.

I log on. I check remember me. I get booted if I close off. I get booted if I stay on. I get booted when I shouldn't. Why do I think that? Because it never did I to me since 2010, and now it is doing it.

REMEMBER ME IS NOT KEEPING ME LOGGED ON. Why do I think that? Because REMEMBER ME IS NOT KEEPING ME LOGGED ON.

Go to your internet settings on whichever browser you are using and specify in cookie handling to save cookies for Poofa. Then when you log into Poofa check off remember me and it will keep you logged in. Your browser is dumping all the cookies that keep you logged in when you shut your browser down. Cookies are necessary for forums if you want them to function correctly.

    In Chrome go to Settings/Advanced/Cookies

    add http://forum/pafoa.org

I never claimed to be the brightest bulb on poofa.
So you're saying remember-me is not keeping you logged on...?

It's because cookies are blocked in his browser. If he turns all cookies on and accepts them for all websites the government can watch his browsing history and use that against him a court of law for deportation to the FEMA Camp.
