I just recalled I had the trigger of my 89 Mauser changed out to Timney many years ago. I was always happy with that one.

I kinda like the 2 stage idea. My M1A has one of the best triggers I've ever shot, and it's a two stage, factory installed by SA. I like two stage triggers. Can't really explain why.

A two stage is best for accuracy when target shooting for accuracy from the bench or in High Power/CMP competitions. Factory AR triggers are typically approx. 4.5 lb trigger pull. If you have a single stage trigger this means you have to pull 4.5 lbs to get it to break (fire) through the entire take up of the trigger. With a two stage, the first stage is typically 3 lbs. and the second stage is 1.5lbs. This means you initially pull 3lbs. up until you hit the second stage, and then a short take up at 1.5lbs. to get the trigger to break.

If you're a run and gun guy, a nice single stage is probably a better choice.

From what I hear, the guys who hunt hogs in the Carolinas prefer single-stage. Sounds like they want the gun to go boom ASAP.?

Best deal out right now is at joe bobs for the hiperfire triggers.

Hiperfire is retooling their design and is trying to blow out the old before they release them.
