Men-in-his-azz is an evil guile filled creature that is worst than many of the violent inmates in NJ state prison system. What would prompt such hate to spill from his orafice is beyond comprehension!?

I'm ok with this, as long as PA adopts that any NJ left hand hogs or speeders meet the same fate.

I was under the impression State rights don't supercede our Constitutional Rights. If that is the case, why all the hoopla over the federal govt. imposing its say on States who are in violation of the 2nd to begin with?

So he wants to jail people for a victimless crime? Typical left. Basically a thought crime. Re-education camps

Everyone has their little hypocrisies. One that drives me nuts is how the 'out of power' party obsesses over the national debt while the 'in power' party embraces "productive debt". Best example I can think of how the two-party monopoly is killing this country.

But the issue of state's rights is not one of those hypocrisies.

It's very simple. States rights = the states should have the right to determine issues not explicitly deemed to be determined at the federal level by the constitution. The States then have the authority to determine issues covered by their own constitutions. The rest is up to us, The People. That's not my opinion; the Constitution says that explicitly: "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."

As Phil says... gay marriage isn't in the constitution: state issue. Prayer (and other curricula) in schools isn't in the constitution: state issue. Healthcare... ditto. Whether the -state- can regulate those depends on -their- Constitution. Otherwise... vote bitches.

But Gun rights? That's in the constitution. States do NOT have the right to restrict them. Those powers -were- "delegated to the United States by the Constitution." That's the polite way of saying "F New Jersey!"

I'm no federalist, I am in favor of states rights, and I'd like to see the federal government's size and power severely diminished.

But one thing that definitely IS their job: -preventing- states from abrogating an explicit constitutionally-recognized right.

No dilemma, no hypocrisy, no double-standard.

The left always likes "state rights" when used to take away the rights of the People.
