Are Revolvers Going To Be Popular Again?

The only revolver I'll ever own would be heirlooms. Conventional semi's have too much going for them for me to ever consider anything but. Ergos, capacity, aftermarket, etc.

I hope they become popular. I've really been rocking the revolver lately and I like it.

I’ve been thinking on this and wondering if HR 38 passes ,will revolvers be more popular with interstate travelers who CC? Especially if you have to abide by the State you are visiting laws and it has a boat load of restrictions ( New Jersey , New York as good examples ) . You don’t have to worry about magazine restrictions , a revolver can eat any ammo you throw at it , they don’t have “evil”stigma modern polymer autos have , they are easy to conceal and hard to regulate (demonize). Just food for thought but FWIW I have a Ruger LCR that I wouldn’t hesitate carrying into the People’s Republics of NJ or NY

I know it’s probably easier and cheaper to but a limited magazine but was curious on others thoughts on this .

Snubbies were once the evil equivalent. I suspect if they gained in mass popularity they will once again join the list of scary guns to be banned.

I'm impressed by everyone's confidence that national reciprocity is all but a done deal. It would be nice to be able to run across the border to get a Meanyburger at Arlene and Toms' in Port Jervis without committing a felony.
