Are Revolvers Going To Be Popular Again?
I’ve been thinking on this and wondering if HR 38 passes ,will revolvers be more popular with interstate travelers who CC? Especially if you have to abide by the State you are visiting laws and it has a boat load of restrictions ( New Jersey , New York as good examples ) . You don’t have to worry about magazine restrictions , a revolver can eat any ammo you throw at it , they don’t have “evil”stigma modern polymer autos have , they are easy to conceal and hard to regulate (demonize). Just food for thought but FWIW I have a Ruger LCR that I wouldn’t hesitate carrying into the People’s Republics of NJ or NY
I know it’s probably easier and cheaper to but a limited magazine but was curious on others thoughts on this .Fortuna audaces iuvat

I have 7 pistols 2 are revolvers that’s @ 28% I’d imagine that percentage is high among most gun owners nowadays . I’m not knocking revolvers in the least my summer EDC is a LCR but most pistols sold are autos .

My smith and wessons aren't cheap. They don't float.
Some states have approved lists. Some revolver are not on some lists.
Not sure but I think the resoprocity is going to be a mine field, but I have not read it.

Re: Are Revolvers Going To Be Popular Again?
I think my wife and I are going to purchase revolvers specifically for carrying in New Jersey and New York. I'm less worried about complying with local ordinances since both my current carry pistols meet the requirements, but more worried about having our weapons confiscated by non-complying municipalities. I'd rather have a Ruger/Taurus get taken away than a Kimber/S&W, and not because I think less of Ruger and Taurus. It's purely a cost thing.
Overall, though, I'm not sure if this will help revolver sales, but it won't hurt them. Even with automatics being more popular than revolvers, I don't see them going away any time soon. They have their pros and their cons, but they are by no means obsolete.
