    What brand is your holster?

The HH Holster web site I posted last night. That’s their MCR.

    OHHHH!!!! I see now!

    HH Holsters MCR model
Not sure how I missed that model. I think it's their mediocre web layout, but I was looking at the much larger OWB holster and it was $60+ so I just closed that window and kept looking.

    $35 shipped??? Damn.
    Slight upcharge for "colors"? Bonus.

I'll be looking at that one a bit more now and see what additional info I can dig up.

    Thanks.

That's the one EM. Sorry, as I reread that post it kinda looks like my finger slipped while typing holster.

They're a decent product for the money. I'm happy with mine.

    Yep. That's what confused me!

I was just about ready to commit to one when I started flipping between tabs looking at images of the two and I think I'm going to go with the BCA over the HH Holsters for two minor reasons - the BCA allows for adjustment of height/cant and the HH MCR is fixed. Secondly, while I was initially drawn to the "minimalist" nature of the MCR, I then noted that the BCA holsted comes up higer in the back and prevents the gun from rubbing into your side. This wouldn't be an issue for the MCR as long as a shirt is tucked in, but I don't always tuck my shirt in and I think the slide stop/etc rubbing bare skin would be unpleasant.

I was really wanting a carbon fiber finish, but beggars can't be choosers.

Appreciate the photos too! That helped!

Here's a few pictures I took earlier today of the BCA, the 1st is my wife's shield sitting on top of to give you an idea of the size. I am a pretty big guy at 6'3" and 240lbs I hold most of my weight in my mid section and the BCA fits tight to my body, part of that being I finally found a really good belt for well under $100.00, and that makes a huge difference.

Don't care, considering the number of irresponsible acts we humans pull each and every day.

    Honestly... Meh.

OTOneH, they're primarily known as makers of IWB CC holsters, so sure they advocate for their market.

OTOtherH.. I really hate to see the carrying (of whatever sort) community railed up against each other, and I see no way this doesn't egg that on. There are plenty of 'advantages' one could cite for CC without getting into 'anti' OC stuff or calling it the more 'responsible' choice.

Bottom line, we the gun-owning, gun-carrying community got enough 'opposition' without fostering internal conflict. Fudds vs. AR's, OC vs. CC, revolver vs. semi, etc. etc. internal conflict just divides us.

But in the end... tempest in a teapot, IMHO. I don't think it rises to "boycott AG!" or such.

Yeah, I don't think this rises to the level of boycott, but it's enough to make me look to another manufacturer.

    My "fuck him" still stands.

An added bonus is that I've seen mixed reviews on their products and I've lost interest in that regard as well.

    Life goes on.

He’d probably say I’m on the extreme of Second Amendment supporters anyway. Someone he doesn’t associate with

I'm no AG fanboi, I must admit. Regardless of this blog post, I rate them as "meh" too.

I've owned 2. One for a VP9, one for Ruger LC9. Owned the LC9 version first, and found it pretty good. Then bought it for the VP9, admittedly a bigger thicker gun, and just found it uncomfortable, hard and bulky. I now carry the VP in a leather 'left hand' holster at 6:00. Best solution I've found for IWB carry of a non-small gun.

Since got rid of the LC9 for various reasons (didn't like the hand-feel, hated the 'push out' breakdown pin vs. a breakdown lever). I'm actually pondering what's next for a smaller CC pistol. I've got plenty of larger-format stuff, but currently lack a compact-carry pistol. Leaning toward a larger-caliber format even for Compact Carry, and being able to get my pinky on the grip is a must. Have liked the M&P Shield .45 the couple times I've handled it... My wife has a shield 9mm and I've shot it regularly. Nice gun, if just a hair too small for my hand. The .45 version seems to up the ante JUST enough to work while still being small enough for comfortable CC. If I find the right deal on that, it's probably a 'go'.
