So its 6 rounds ? what advantage over an extended tube ? I can top off a tube fairly quick. now if they made it where the tube can be used and selected alternately with the mag (like the KSG's dual tubes ) that may sell some if not, sorry Rem...not interested

    I don't like it.
I like extended tubes like the one my spas has.

    Plus, it can hold 9rnds

Why does everyone think it has a tube mag?

It has a "tube" because that's where the pump is traditionally fitted.
Note the lack of a tube extending beyond the pump.

This isn't hard to figure out.

So all it is missing is the magazine spring and a plastic follower. Everything else is the same.

I agree it is not obvious how I could make it better. But I don't have 200 years of gunsmithing knowledge. Apparently Remington doesn't either with this bolt on attachment.

It's interesting but not for me. Magazines are generally the cause of most malfunctions. Their tube fed system is practically flawless with the anti double feed tabs now built into the carrier. Shell latches rarely break. I just don't see the need, but anticipate that they will sell pretty well.

I wonder if the magazine housing and assembly could be easily retrofitted to an existing 870 SBS (of course, you could Form 1 their entire gun, too). That might have some utility inside houses and urban areas. Or from inside a vehicle when surrounded by Antifa types.

This gets one big "Whoopdie f*cking doo" from me. This does nothing for me. Plenty of better HD pumps out there. This is a solution to a non-existent problem. How about Remington stops putting out bullshit no one asked for.

Here's a thought: fix your quality issues on the time-tested lines like the 700, their 1911s, and their shotguns. Then, and only then, do you branch out by ACTUALLY RELEASING THE DEFENSE MODEL OF THE ACR, you know...that gun that was touted to be game-changing and bushmaster completely shit the bed on the release?

Remington & Marlin used to have that until they tried to modernize without regard to that history. Putting the bean counters in charge has killed more good companies than I can count.
