Default Shooting buddy: Library Sportsman's Club

Hey guys, I'm looking for a local shooting buddy to go to Library Sportsman's club with. I'm already a member and live about 10min away, but find that I dont use it nearly enough and hoping having someone to go with will give me more motivation.

Primarily interested in rifle, trap and pistol; bullshitting about what guns' best and load dev shit.

I'm thinking of joining. I read about the range rules, etc. How do you like the range?

I'm a member as well, and like havoc, don't get out there near as much as I would like.

If you can deal with the rules.....

The indoor range is pretty nice. Well lit, well ventilated, and automated trollies with digital controls, so there's no guessing at what distance you're at.

The outdoor range only allows 50 or 100 yards (nothing shorter and no in-between). While not a spectacular range, the benches are well covered, and the range is well maintained.

I can't speak to the trap/skeet facilities, as I don't use them, but they do seem nice.

Overall, it's one of the nicer facilities I've seen in the area. But again, you have to be willing to deal with the fairly restrictive rules. It's only 10 min. from my house, even in heavy traffic, so I put up with it, but I go elsewhere if I want to let the AR's stretch their legs a bit.

I'm new here, and am interested. I'm about 30 minutes away it looks like, but that's not a drive that would deter me (SGL 203 is about the same distance).
