Default Sporting Clays Course -- Tipping the guide

I'm curious what a customary good tip is for a guide at a Sporting Clays course. I shot recently at Seven Springs.... Great course, they drive you between stations on a golf cart, and the guides are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful...and didn't make my rookie friends and I feel out of place for shooting our field guns instead of the 5,000.00 O/U's that most people there seem to shoot. I think the cost was around $100 each for the round, there were four of us.

Does anyone who is a frequent Sporting Clays shooter have any insight on what is the range of customary tipping? From fair to good to great?

    Thanks

We always tipped them $20 a head.

Thanks Captain! That puts me right in line. There were four of us and I think I left a hundred. I figured I wasn't low...but wanted to make sure I wasn't tipping stupidly high either. I appreciate the insight.

Dam $500 for a day of shooting. Way out of my league.
    Some people just plain suck.
