No, the trap was designed for guns, they were not thinking of cars. Cars kill way more people than guns. (yes I know, objects don't kill, people using objects kill) This is not about people being killed. Never is. They lie about that to cover up the real purpose of their efforts to disarm citizens. The medical marijuana laws just another effort to disarm people without causing a large back lash of public outcry.

I had the extreme displeasure many years ago to see a 50’ long streak of blood and gray matter smeared along the road after a pothead rolled his Toyota and his teen girlfriend was partially ejected and her head was trapped between the A pillar and the asphalt.

Potheads are no better than alchoholics and I despise both equally.

Well I’m pretty sure we can all agree alcoholics and drug addicts are a danger to those around them. Fortunately this thread is about those suffering from long term or life long illnessl who would be legally and responsibly using a substance in order to live a more normal life.

Using the THC in weed in a medical form is one thing, paying off a doctor to say you need pot for some back pain is something entirely different.
Everyone that is honest about “medical” pot knows that for every person that “needs” it there are a dozen others feigning some sort of ailment to get it.
Everyone that is honest knows that allowing medical pot is just to get the door open to legalizing pot.

Well it won't be working in PA like that at least not yet since its only approved for two or three medical conditions and there are currently less then 100 licensed Dr's who will be able to write a prescription for the dispensary to fill. If they based it off NJ's. current medical laws not the new crap coming then it will be expensive and each patient will be only allowed a specific amount per month.

Even if it were like other states like CA who give out weed licenses to smoke it would cost 3-5 times the amount it would cost a normal recreational user so getting it illegally would still be the affordable option. Now depending on how NJ runs their new recreational program which they claim will end all state dept as well as all other problems will dictate a lot of what goes on here in PA on the street level.

Good or bad we won't know until it happens.

Pot needs to be reclassified.

There are 17 qualifying medical conditions including cancer, epilepsy and MS. Doctors can only write recommendations, they can't Rx because of the federal status. Currently there are about 400 PA docs who can recommend. It will be expensive and amounts will be limited. Getting it illegally will most likely be cheaper, given that insurance won't cover a doctor's visit to get MMJ. The products available in PA -- all oil based -- won't be able to be smoked like a joint, though you might vape 'em.
