i saw a short stichfield video. nugent is always worth seeing.
watching cspan clip now, always with the "loaded gun!" talking point from these old freaks.
like a determined criminal would be stopped anywhere before the metal detectors that protect these fools.

Edit: looks like i saw the above posted clip. same short thing he posted.

Editedit: omg the failed logic and failure of facts... avoiding the prohibition of newtown shooter from possession, the "33,000 gun deaths" and correlation to japan and UK again. failing to note the suicide by firearm rates here and avoiding the murder rates by "other" in those countries.
and all the "feelings" i "feel" this is bad "why don't we feel more?"

Deja vu 1986. I don't know if it is true but I read the NRA is pushing for universal background checks in the bill also. I see now (articles from today) the DOJ is going to do a review on bump fire stocks and their legality. I am sure the NRA is happy about that too. This whole carry reciprocity deal had me nervous from the get go because I knew there is a highly likelihood this shit show will happen and we would end up losing.

Oh almost forgot, fuck the NRA.

Rest assured there will be a Trojan horse or poison pill in the bill if the Senate approves. There will be something giving them more power over firearms

its worth watching these liberals squirm and be all dramatic.
thy blame everything on the NRA not realizing we paid the NRA to do a damned job. that there are firearm owners well in excess of the NRA
but hell, they barely know their own state laws...
then have arguments like "well we shouldn't allow this bill because our home state has chosen not to have reciprocity with any other state"

...thats precisely why the bill exists, because your state even violates federal transportation laws and is simply seeking to strip rights and throw people in prison for traveling on your holy lands while criminal gangbangers are in your streets selling illegal drugs while possessing illegal weapons, yet are detained for short periods of time or allowed to walk.

i especially like when they mention how it's so stupid to be wasting time discussing this violation of our rights when there is a massive drug epiemic... you know, those illegal drugs that have been banned longer than firearms have been regulated. those drugs they fail to stop with laws, kinda like how their laws fail to stop gun violence OH BUT japan! austrailia!...
or they complain how this is all so sudden and on the heels of shootings.. erm, january 2017.
goodlatte argued that when states first started recognizing each others drivers licenses, they had no way of verifying they were legit at the time. but their argument was verification is important now because we're all criminals first and foremost.

what i would give to debate one of these fools.... 3 minutes before they're recycling talking points w/o being able to counter an argument.

    yes it did.
campaign time. find the 8 most gun friendly dem senators. call and write your personal reasons for the bill.
dont let up or weve just been wasting our time.

so i guess cross check senators vs nra ratings and then pull up their twitter, facebook, office address and fax and numbers.

I really think this has a chance of passing the Senate and being signed by Trump. It needs 8 Democrats in the Senate to vote yea. There are quite a few Democrat senators up for re-election *in Trump states*. It will be close, but i think it's doable.

Now, if this does pass the Senate, and POTUS signs it, no doubt NY and NJ will file lawsuits. A judge will no doubt declare it invalid. When that happens, does the law stand until it is struck down? Or, do we have to wait for a SCOTUS ruling to actually carry in NJ and NY?
