This is well known within the Enfield collecting community. The Indian 2A rifles are to be used with 7.62x51 spec ammo and not anything loaded hotter. The same can be said of many of the small ring Mausers that have been rebored or rebarreled to the caliber.

Check out the Malaysian or South Korean surplus that has been flooding the Intranet lately. The Malaysian stuff shoots really well (accurate) out of my M1A.
If you plan on reloading buy the South Korean stuff. The Malaysian is Berdan primed.

Never had an issue with them. That being said, good price?

Good price.... Not that good ammo. And I'm not sterotyping the Wolf brand... I like wolf. Ive tried wolf in 7.62x39 (awesome), 5.45x39 (eh.. alright), .223 (eh..alright) and .308 (sucks).

Expect pretty bad accuracy.... Like 4 moa. I would go the Malaysian stuff if you want plinking ammo, but that's your decision to make.

Can't beat $14 a box for 308 plinking ammo if you don't want to buy 400-500 rounds at a time.

If it’s that bad I’ll buy the Malaysian.

If you don't reload and throw your fired cases in the trash buy the Malaysian ammo. If not pay the 3 cents more per case and buy the boxer primed stuff.

Its hard to find reloadable 308 brass for under 15 cents each.
