Rules are written in the stone,
Break the rules and you get no bones,
all you get is ridicule, laughter,
and a trip to the house of pain.

Re: ARE THERE MOUNTAIN LIONS IN PA?
Saw a mountain lion here in Southern Chester County a few years back. It was last day of muzzleloader, sitting atop a mound at an old quarry. The critter was about 15 yards below me, watching some guys drive a woodline across the field from us. Got to see him on his hind legs, whiskers, curling his long tail. After about 5 minutes he slinked off into the dusk.
I don't expect it was a wild specimen, but there was talk of one in the area previously, and I was tickled to get to watch him!

Re: ARE THERE MOUNTAIN LIONS IN PA?
Aren't all specimens living and surviving on their own "wild"? Domestication occurs over hundreds or thousands of years and as many and more generations. And taming can occur from birth to adulthood, however, a tame wild animal is still "wild" especially having returned to it's natural way of life...a feral animal is one that has returned to nature, having previously lived in captivity with humans, or the subsequent progeny of said animal. I doubt the lion you saw was looking for the next human with meow mix, tu sabes??

Re: ARE THERE MOUNTAIN LIONS IN PA?
I do not understand the mocking and thorough disbelief that some have of mountain lions sightings in PA.
There have been documented cases of these lions in PA periodically. They are not reproducing here, but they are occasionally wandering through. It is also possible that there are escaped mountain lion pets every now and then.
If there are occasional sightings, and occasional mountain lions, then what is so hard to believe? This isn't the same as sasquatch and aliens. It is a known species of animal that is capable of surviving in this area, has done so in the past, and whose range can sometimes bring it into the state.
Why do some reject all sightings out of hand?Sic semper tyrannis

Re: ARE THERE MOUNTAIN LIONS IN PA?
Because they're delusional....that's why.
You are confusing the minuscule possibility of an escaped or planted specimen being sighted with the absolute countless sightings that have zero evidence other than the witnesses lying eyes. Bigfoot has more documented proof than lions in PA.
If there is a .00001% chance of a lion in PA then there are a metric shit ton of liars/lunatics claiming to have seen the same cat across the state at the same time.
Let me know when someone can sort that out.
Or maybe a picture of anything that isn't complete BS.FUCK BIDEN
