Was renting a barn over in Lake Ariel a few years back. About 200 yards from the stone wall in the one field, there was always a very large cat. Guy at the barn with me (owner) said it's the neighborhood cougar.
Okay, looked like it could be a big cat.
One morning I went into the barn, but the door wasn't latched when I arrived. On the hood of the car (which was covered in bondo dust) were several VERY LARGE paw prints. That made for about an hour of very cautious skulking around with pistol in hand to be sure it wasn't still inside.

Also had a bobcat in my shop here a few years back. Walked in and heard this growl type noise...figured it was another dang red squirrel or feral cat...damned thing jumped from the rafters and shot right between my legs and hauled butt about 10 feet, stopped and looked at me, then trotted off.

I have since made a more concerted effort of being sure my buildings are secured.

I count at least 2 changes of underwear not mentioned above.

    C'mon, man, attention to detail...

The bobcat...definitely! LOL! The other one...just lots of caution. Felt a bit under gunned with a compact .380...started carrying my P-85 afterwards.

Oh, and the village of "Panther" isn't but a stone's throw away from here...surprise.

There are no Mtn Lions in PA. Also voter fraud doesn't exist and gun free zones work.

I'm glad I got that off my chest.
