Golden Trigger in Emmaus
I withdraw my support of this business. I had a bad experience, but decided it may have been just a misunderstanding on my part. I have learned of others having very similar problems with this business and will recommend that all business discussions be in writing with a clear understanding of any arrangements between the customer and the proprietors.
I've been doing business with Rob & Robin here for a little while now. Nice folks, decent prices, good inventory, clean shop. New and some used weapons, ammo, reloading, archery and supplies

Re: Golden Trigger in Emmaus
So, where exactly is it? Along Route 29?
I get to that area once/month on business. I'm always interested in checking out different shops.

They are in the center of town at the triangle, SW corner, lower level.

Re: Golden Trigger in Emmaus
I have not been impressed. Lots of different inventory, though. Prices somewhat high...IMO. $50 to do an FFL transfer!!. I can get it done for $15 elsewhere.
Also, seems to depend on the day as to what kind of service you get. Called one time to inquire about an FFL transfer and she was not all that pleasant AND never called me back with a quote on a gun I wanted. Not just me either...other guys I've talked to have had the same experience.
YMMV.___________________

Where do you suggest TSLtrek. I had a bit of "confusion" with the owner after my post.

Re: Golden Trigger in Emmaus
Definitely Seneca Arms in Green Lane. John is top notch. Worth the drive.
The $15 transfer I did was at Handgunner in Topton. Randy was nice enough.
I've been to Boyer's in Slatington to look a couple of times, but never did any business, but they were friendly enough and had a ton of used long guns. $25 transfers.
All 3 are reviewed on this forum.
I read lots of good things about Donley's in Quakertown, but have yet to go there.___________________

Re: Golden Trigger in Emmaus
Since I work in the area, I stopped in to check out the store. Nice little shop, pretty decent selection. I bought some ammo & targets. Prices were slightly higher then I've seen other places, but I was there & wasnt buying a whole lot.
I asked about a certain rifle, that they didnt have it stock, so the lady looked in the book & couldnt find the model I wanted, so I left my name & phone #. She said she would call the dist & get me a price within a day or so. Were not talking about a tiny bit (Unless you consider $1200 a tiny amount).
I never heard back from them. Thats the last time I went in there. If you're not outraged & disgusted, you are simply not paying atttention
