Son selling gun i bought
I purchased a used shield 40, couldn't bond with it and gave it to my son. He's going to trade it in on another gun, there should be no issues with paperwork or will i have to do the paperwork ? Thanks in advance

In PA father to son transfers are OK, so your son should have no problem transferring it. IANAL of course.

There is no check that is run when you trade a gun to an FFL. It is true that this would be a legal transfer. Even if it was not, there is no way for an FFL to verify that. Furthermore, it could conceivably have been stolen from its original owner before winding up on the used rack the first time. Food for thought.
