Got mine at the local police station/jail. Any cop place that does booking can do it.

It for a background check and sent to FBI. Not a ltcf. Didn't need fingerprints for that in Chester County.

Don't they have to be notarized?

The security office where I work does fingerprinting for background checks and they must notarize them.

Several years ago the Forest County Sheriffs Dept. did my prints for my AZ handgun license.

Don't know about notarizing but believe I had a prepaid envelope addressed to the FBI for them to send off.

IIRC, something on there denoted it was done at a police station. I received a card for my prints and the police station had the same card.

I also had a good experience going there getting fingerprinted for FL. They can also do photos so it's one stop "shopping".
