Law enforcement that does fingerprinting?

Anyone know of a LE agency that does fingerprinting for out of state carry permits around the Philadelphia area?

Most departments only do the area they serve. I’d look for a list of local departments and call the ones with areas that aren’t very busy and located in republican areas.

I had my FL non res permit renewed and went to my local State Police barracks. I know the some say they do not do this however it is listed as a service they provide for non res permits from other states right on their web site. Look up the closest one to you and call.

I understand some departments have gone to optically scanned fingerprints forwarded electronically, eliminating inked rolled impressions on fingerprint cards which some agencies are still requiring.

Some departments have just stopped doing it since it requires manpower taken off of police work. They are even referring requests to civilian businesses that are now filling the void, rather expensively.

I memory serves, some out-of-state non-res permits require fingerprints be done by LEOs. Unless the UPS employee is also a cop this would not work.

This is correct Florida will not take them from any non LEO agency.

Not sure if to far, but the Chester County Sheriff’s department did mine for my Utah and were good to deal with.
