    Default Imbel FAL kit

I have a buddy asking to trade a rifle of mine for a decent looking Imbel FAL kit with a good barrel. What's the worth on one of these things and is there much of a demand if I try to resell it?

Best to check the FALfiles marketplace forum and see if you can find similar "sold" listings for a sense of values.

Demand? Well, I just bought one. You need a $400 receiver from DSA or Coonan, and $200+ in specialty tools and gauges to properly assemble it, so you really don't save any money building one, I just wanted to take on the challenge. So basically, I don't see a reason for many people to go through the trouble of buying a parts kit and building one compared to the price of buying one.
