Ghost is the glock answer to crap trigger. Ruger LC9s proves strikers can have a good trigger from the factory. P230 has a decent trigger. JMB made some all steel strikers that feel good.

That is because nearly ever JMB striker was fully cocked and the sear merely released the striker, and many were straight pull triggers(no pivot). ...you didn't have that mush of cocking the striker the rest of the way, nor the arc of a hinged trigger.

Do you know anyone with a FN? I can't speak for all models, but the FNX45T has a phenomenal trigger. It is very smooth.

^^^This^^^ the FN FNX 9,40 or 45 is what you seek, I have the standard 45 (nonTac, couldn't justify nearly twice the price for the RMR mounting or suppressor compatibility, way too $$$ when finished for my budget ) either of which I'll never use for a carry gun. I sold my 1911 of 30 years to purchase it, do not regret. The trigger is wonderful and you can carry cocked and locked if desired, I also have a HK USP Compact 40 which is equally good and functions the same in V1 trigger option. also on both of these the controls are in the exact location as the 1911 so the transition is easy

I've never been a fan of striker fired handguns, but I'm seeing an FN FNS 9 compact in my future. And this is from a guy who wouldn't even consider a aluminum frame handgun 20 -30 years ago, my go to pistols are polymer, still keeping all my revolvers steel for now
