Seriously, thank you for declaring you had a firearm on your person at the courthouse entrance, before entering the metal detector. Furthermore, thank you for not reaching for it, and asking how we, at the security checkpoint, wanted to proceed. Thank you for removing the holster (a nice one at that) with your firearm, and then sticking around for us to write you a receipt, and paying attention when we directed you to our Sheriff's Office to renew your LTCF. And thank you for telling us 'be safe' when you left. I wish there were more of y'all out there.
