Question Valley Forge Military Academy (VFMA) Carry

Checked the stickies, and engaged my google-fu, and still don't have a solid answer:

I will be attending an event - sponsored by a gun club, so (almost) all gun owners - on the VFMA campus in the near future.

The cadet manual prohibits *cadets* from having firearms, but I can find nothing regarding the campus in general.

I am willing to CC instead of OC to reduce butt-hurt among the inevitable Fudd crew, but I'd rather not go without - at very least not to and from, ideally not at all.

Input, anyone? Specific signage anyone may be aware of, etc?

    Thanks

It’s a secondary school. By federal law it is off limits.

I'm rather distracted focused on something else today, please explain:

I have my PA LTCF, therefore the Federal 1000' GFSZ is not in play.

I'm not looking to be an example for "other lawful purpose", but it's how the PA law reads at the moment.

    Which law(s) am I missing?

I mean the PA law, not a federal law. The academy has high school students and I believe some grade school students too. I don’t think the “other lawful purpose” clause will help you, but I don’t want to see you be a test case.

You need a legal interpretation of the vague phrase "other lawful purpose” and if it covers attending an event.

    It's pronounced "self defense"...

Well, just think "duck & cover".

They used to have some nicely polished cannons there - you can probably figure this one out...

Useful parking location provided by GMAN in this thread.

For my nephew's graduation from there last year.
Although I did not carry on the grounds of VFMA. I at least carried to + from.
I drove down from Allentown carrying, parked in Fenimore Woods community park as recommended by GMAN, and locked weapon a safe, in my truck.
