    Default Renew LTCF Early

Feel like I saw the answer but cannot find it. I want to renew, it may be beyond 60 days however, meaning, technically I may have 75 days left on my current. I want to go to the airport substation. I figure I need a check, drivers license, and complete the form there? Do I need my current LTCF? Will they do it beyond the 60 days?

There is no requirement for YOU to renew within any stipulated amount of time except before the license expiration date, or the affirmative defense/"grace period" should that not occur. You can renew 2 years early if you want. Be sure they accept a check, most don't, especially if they issue on the spot, nor do you need to fill out the form there.
Be aware that you new license expires 5 years from the date of issue, not 5 years from the current expiration date, so renewing too early in effect shortens the valid time of the current license.

So, fill out the form at home, bring cash and drivers license. Need current LTCF or no?

Why wouldn't you have it regardless?

They may want to punch it (invalidate it) or keep it.

My sheriff never asked for my old one. My old one was just a piece of paper.

They punched a hole in my old one and let me keep it as a memento, something to pass on to my son or grandchildren. I will cherish it forever, or until I die, whichever comes first.

Some localities like to see two forms of ID. The current license counts as one.

Delco I believe only accepts cash and when your renewal comes in they take your previous one.
