Auto Ordnance/Kahr Thompson M1 SBR
I picked up my Thompson M1 SBR today at Kahr's new retail facility (and future factory) here in northeast PA. I live about an hour away. The Form 4 took just over 6 months. While I was there, the Kahr armorer took it into his shop and went over it for me. I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet - hopefully tomorrow. I've got a 120 yard range here on our property. I had heard that the springs on these things were stiff...that's an understatement!! What a bear. Once I have a few hundred rounds through it I will probably swap to a set of EZ Springs.

NICE! I have the ribbed barrel version, and the springs are like coil springs from an old f-350.

I agree - killer. I bought an EZ SPring kit for it - will replace the springs once I put a few hundred rounds through it.

I WANT ONE.
Where is this new retail shop?!
Just have to decide to either put it in my trust or file as an individual.

Ive only put one drum through mine,(with the 16" barrel on it, not the 10.5) its like shooting a concrete building block with a trigger on it. (clumsy and heavy).
I should probably shoot it one day

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had a 60's built AO Tommy Gun and I sold it for part of my wife's diamond...not the ring, just the diamond.
One of these days...one of these days.
Very nice, I don't know if I could wait that long.

Re: Auto Ordnance/Kahr Thompson M1 SBR
I have the T150D version. No tax stamp needed. I will admit I first saw one when I went to Tommy Gun Warehouse (Kahr's retail store). However, I ordered mine through my LGS. They got it for me a few hundred bucks cheaper than TGW. TGW prices are close to MSRP. I did buy a barely used Kahr P380 from them.
I can't wait for Kahr to have their frames stamped "Greeley, PA". As soon as they are, I am getting myself a PM9. All my guns are American made...even my Glocks, but I don't have any "Pennsylvania" guns.
