Pegula Ice Arena at Penn State University
Has anyone been there recently for a Mens hockey game? I'd like to get ticket and just curious is they were wanding people similar to what they do at PSU home football games at nearby Beaver Stadium: http://forum.pafoa.org/showthread.php?t=311599
Any help anyone can give would be appreciated.

I haven't been there, but I asked a friend of mine who had been. They do have metal detectors.

Since it's on campus I would say that it's against the University policy to carry. I went to a game a few weeks ago and I do not recall being wanded, but I cannot remember for sure. I know they do at football games for sure.
In response to the thread you referenced in regards to the football games...I was wanded there a few weeks ago and it "alerted" on my belt buckle, so yes the metal detectors do work. It's not all for show.Last edited by Marcus99; November 3rd, 2017 at 08:52 PM.

The NCAA does not allow weapons at ANY event other than shooting sports. And even there, only competitors.
