Re: Feeling Unprepared for This Tuesday, November 7
For me it will raise my state income tax to almost as much as a 100% homestead tax exclusion. My income is on the lower end of the scale. 100% homestead tax exclusion will probably never happen but it is worded poorly enough to give people false hope that it could. It will also increase state sales, tax most foods, some clothing, and a bunch of other shit that never used to be taxable.
I will be far worse off even if I did get the 100% homestead exclusion.

Seeing so may of those vote for such and such signs lately I wonder how long they will hang around after the election. Reminds me of the funny story a few years back about a candidate that got caught stealing his opponents signs. Had a trunk full of them. Don't remember the outcome but doubt it went well for his campaign.

Absolutely, vote NO. The change only gives the district the OPTION to reduce taxes, which we know they won't do. What it does is opens the door for the state to levy additional taxes under the guise of helping education (since they can't balance a budget). When the state does that, they will keep a share for additional projects and personnel, and you can bet the rest of those funds won't be doled out in your districts: over 50% will go to the bottom dozen or so of 500 districts, like Chester, Reading, and York.
The net/net is we will all pay more if you vote yes.Resistance to tyrants is obedience to God.

So there is no GOP on GOP action to worry about? Just want to get the right guy. I did receive the NRA voters guide. I'm in Berks. Ben Nevius is endorsed by county sheriff (very pro 2A). Besides straight Republican, the NRA list, and "No" on the tax question, what else do I need to know to forward our cause and keep the Constitution and our Country intact?
