Re: My first Form1 homebuilt suppressor
Your tube looks like aluminum. What are your other materials and the finish on the baffles? Cone and K-cone baffles are a simple, yet quite effective design.

Re: My first Form1 homebuilt suppressor
The tube is aluminum. The baffles are 1095 steel with a black oxide coating. Just stuff I had laying around the shop. The baffles should last a long time. It's a little heavy but I don't mind.

Very cool. Do you have a decibel meter for comparison?

Re: My first Form1 homebuilt suppressor
why did you port the front of the baffles? that basically turned a k baffle into a cone. not that it wont work but probably could have been better.

Re: My first Form1 homebuilt suppressor
I saw the baffles design on the silencer talk forum. It looked interesting so I wanted to try it just to see how it works. I don't have a meter but I'll post a video of my range test.
