A felon that has done their time (i.e. no longer on probation/parole) is different. The OP is on probation and has not completed her sentence and is still at the mercy of the Court. Sure the Husband can continue to carry if he is not concerned about his wife abiding by the terms of her probation

I don't know why people don't understand the concepts of parole / probation.

The courts essentially are saying, look, we are booked up (or we know you have work or even a company to run). And we will let you out early for the rest of your sentence but you have to agree to these restrictions. Or you can just stay in jail / prison and forego this option. It is up to you (and whomever you live with).

Usually, if you are single, you can't have the opposite sex live with you etc.; no alcohol; must be attending a job; not associate with other felons or professional crooks etc. These are all historical restrictions in addition to weapons. BTW, the guns can be turned over to the Sheriff or someone approved by the Sheriff as stated in PA statutes.

Thank you everyone who was answering nicely. I was not in prison. I got probation from the get go. There was no jail time in the charge at all. Lawyers say yes, probation says no and others say he still has his rights and can keep in our garage locked up without access by me. But we got rid of them and are keeping them in a storage locker until this is done with. I appreciate everyone's answers.
