Pic rail torque spec and loctite question
I just ordered some Nikon p series scope mounts for my AR.
How tight should I torque the mounts to the rail? I have a torque wrench that does inch pounds.
Should I use loctite on the mounts to the pic rail?
And what should I torque the scope to? 1" tube if it matters. I assume no loctite on the rings.
Thanks!

Re: Pic rail torque spec and loctite question
If it doesn't say in the paperwork, then maybe try contacting Nikon. I have a Burris PEPR mount. I torqued the mount to the rail as per the spec, and it came loose, so I cranked it down a little harder. The rings I followed the specs and had no issues.
I wouldn't use locktite.

Torque specs were all included. Rail screws came with that yellow dry threadlock on them.
Super easy.
