Re: Ungawa memorial Shoot November 12
Pahuntn,
Do I understand correctly, there is no point in bringing a box of B27's?
And do you already have 2x6 target frames with cardboard, or do you just string everything on a line?
Also, how do boxes of donuts go over with this crowd?
Maybe a few cases of Coke or Pepsi or bottled water?
You guys have the basics covered, so I'm looking for something I can bring that won't already be there.
I am open to any suggestions. How can you have any cookies if you don't drink your milk?

Re: Ungawa memorial Shoot November 12
Since it looks like I might be going, I still have the box of clays from last time... Whether someone is bringing a thrower to actually shoot em, or we just hang em up to shoot em, it'd be great if we could use them all up!
I'll have to figure out the food situation...
Guns I plan on bringing...
HK Mark 23 (.45 ACP) + suppressor
MP5 Clone SBR (9mm)
HK USP Compact .45 w/ threaded barrel
HK USP Tactical 9mm
Built .22 AR
Rugged Obsidian .45 Suppressor (compatible with everything except for the Mark 23)
PTR91 (.308)
If we're doing clays, I can bring a shotgun or two as well...

yes I have so many paper targets B 27's standard small bore 100 200 yard 300 yard and assorted others.I have target stands I made plus will put some osb sheets yup to hold targets. Donuts go well, I am sure there are some sida drinkers and definitely water drinkers. Sounds like some steel is coming.

If anyone has portable target holders and steel they want to bring it isn't a problem its how we get ideas at these shoots. Like the portable gun rack idea I stole from emptymag lol.

Re: Ungawa memorial Shoot November 12
I know you've never met me, but this is a body built by donuts. This is going to be hard to believe, but I'm a fat, middle aged, White guy. Only cops eat more donuts by demographic.
Seriously, donuts go well. Soda might be a good idea. I wouldn't go to overboard on it. I'm not a soda drinker personally, but I'm sure I'm in the minority. Maybe a couple of twelve packs would probably do. There always seems to be a ton of food at these things and it's easy to over think things. Just bring a little something to share (donuts for example) and that'll be plenty. By the time everyone chips in we have a veritable smorgasbord to choose from. We usually end up leaving a meal fit for a king for the local bear population when this is over.
