    Default CZ Teal Opinions?

Anyone have a CZ Teal from Cabelas?

I'm looking for a decent 20 gauge to use for occasional Trap and Sporting Clays.

I already have both a Silver Pigeon Sporting and Citori in 12 for those sports, want to try a 20 for a while and then if I like it get a Beretta/Browning in 20 to replace the Teal.

Didn't see the Teal on the CZ website so it's maybe a Cabela's special? It looks a bit like the Redhead . . . and I have a Redhead in 20ga that was (and is) perfectly serviceable for the short time I used it before moving to 12ga permanently. I paid about Cabela's ask for the Teal for the Redhead about 5 years ago.

FWIW I thought it was an excellent value at the time, and nothing in it's use told me otherwise.

Ordered the Teal on line at Cabelas. On sale for $300 off plus 5% military discount. All told, $527 and change. They must have sold a lot of them because they are backordered 4+ weeks.

I had a few cz doubles, I tried to like them but in the end, they all felt like 600 shotguns, nothing fancy just a utility gun. I had issues with 1 I had to send back to factory, the fire pins came out to far and wouldn't let you break open the action. got it back in a week and wasn't fixed right, sent it back again and the gave me a new gun. they feel harsh shooting for some reason. I am also not a fan of Turkish guns. if you pay 500 for one, your getting nothing but a 500 gun, they are pretty crude to say the lease. people I know also love them. if you shoot your silver pigeon then your cz, you won't shoot the cz anymore. go find a nice skb100....light and nice doubles for the money

Backordered until late Feb from Cabelas. Glad because I just found a great deal on a Beretta 687 SP3 in 20ga. Bought the Beretta and cancelled the CZ.

    I'm happy...very happy.
