Re: LEO encounter
Moderation is important
That said I’ve probably knocked 10-20 years off of my life with some of my choices. But like the comedian said, they’re years off the end of my life and shifty ones at that.
I’m happy and content

Re: LEO encounter
My relatives have mostly died between 70 and 90. A few making it to nearer 100.
My perspective is that nobody had quality of life worth a shit after about 75. Flat-out none of them had a life I'd want to lead after early 80's. FWIW, most of them agreed: I recall my grandfather regularly saying "Why TF am I still here?" from early 90's on until his death at 99... in a home, miserable and hating it.
If eating and drinking and living how I want (which I do) kills me at 70-75 vs. 100, I'm okay with that. And I'm close enough to that now that I'm pretty comfy with getting there, and I'm pretty comfy with leaving around then. The day I'm bound to a 'mobility scooter' etc... put a pillow over my head and call me done.DGAF
