    Default New AR pistol

So I had a few extra parts laying around and won a little money. PSA had their marauder7.5 inch upper for sale for 179$ so i figured why not. Ever since I took the Vltor rail off my main rifle I thought it would make a cool pistol. Everything i had to buy i went bargain basement except the BCG. Got a blem Anderson lower, PSA k2 parts kit and a 50$ buffer tube asm. Got lss then 400 in it not including the Vltor rail/handguard which was about 275$ when i bought it back in 08. It measures 24" total.

Do they usually not? I have 4 ARs and this buffer spring makes it the hardest of the bunch to pull back the charging handle. Havent even chambered a round yet, only my boresight.

How heavy of a buffer do you have in that? Do you have a pistol buffer spring or a carbine spring?

That looks like a very nice pistol, regardless of how much you have into it.

    Congrats!

Then you should be good to go. I've know some who have installed a carbine spring and it's has caused a problem or 2. You should run a 5.5 oz buffer, but that's probably what comes with the Phase 5 kit.

    Congrats Again!

Short barrels (primarily .223/5.56) can be fickle bitches sometimes. PS: make sure your ear plugs are in tight.
