Re: I don't own an AR. Am I alone?
I don't own one, even though I've had several in the past. I sold the last one I had months ago and wound up with a FAL that I won't sell for anything. Hell I know I've sold a few ARs to people on this board. I had some extra cash at the Oaks show and wanted something as a cheap ammo blaster, and figured I'd pic up a LEA trade-in AR if I could find one for a decent price. But then I watched Lord of War the night before Oaks and jumped at an underfolder AK that I saw.

I would just like to point out the fact that there are forty two replies so far and only nine answer the OPs question. We (including myself) like our ARs so much we even talk about them when someone asks who doesn't have one!

Re: I don't own an AR. Am I alone?
I would totally own one if the price was right. Used s&w under or at 400$, I'd jump on it. Unknown (to me) manufacturer new at the same price I'd probably avoid.
Also, to the Wal-Mart buyers, lucky you. My local Wal-Mart pretty much only has shotguns and bolt and lever guns up to say 30-30 with an odd caliber here and there. No semi auto anything other than a 10/22.
