BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (AP) — Four guns, among other items, were stolen from an unmarked Kern County Sheriff’s Office vehicle.

KBAK-TV reports Sgt. David Hubbard says the car is assigned to an undercover deputy, and it was parked in front of the deputy’s home.

A Colt AR-15, Mossberg 12-gauge shotgun and a Glock 27 handgun were stolen. The Sheriff’s Office didn’t specify the type for the fourth gun.

The Sheriff’s Office is investigating how the guns were stored and how the theft happened.

    No suspects have been identified.

Didn't the thieves know California has universal background checks? Now they're really in trouble for not getting a background check run and going through the 10 day waiting period for those stolen firearms...

Why does anyone need to carry 4 guns in their car?

If select-fire , it would be an M-16 assault rifle! But would the press actually print that?

Were the Glock 27s California-compliant, or were they the "unsafe" versions?
